Los Angeles - If the classic zombie film Dawn of the Dead wasnt scary enough already, it will soon be available in a 3-D vision. The 1978 movie by horror director George Romero will be "dimensionalized" using patented software tools and techniques to create a second camera image from a 2-D image. The new version, which will be completed within the year, will cost 50,000 to 100,000 dollars a minute to convert to the new format, Variety reported. But demand has risen sharply. The Paul Coehlo book has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 67 languages. It focuses on the story of a shepherd boy who travels across the Egyptian desert in search of treasure but meets an alchemist who teaches him the meaning of life. "It is a book I have been truly inspired by, and I have agreed to personally produce it," said Weinstein in a statement. "The Alchemist is simple and spiritual, and the screenplay will reflect that. The book means so much to people on a spiritual level, yet there is also a great love story in it.
